[STUDIOPLANs]
This month MUYM will start the first recording period for their next
album which they want to release this year. As mentioned, the
recordings take place in different periods. The first period starts
medio February and will end medio March. For this coming album the
band will focus on the new sound, they want to bring. The band has
evolved and went through quite some changes which will be noticed in
the sound of the coming record. During the studio time, blogs and
pictures will appear on the website.

The recordings of 'Your Promises' has been made, the song is now
mixed, mastered and the footage for the video has been recorded.

Right now it's all up to our editor (Dirk-Jan van den Aardweg), to get
the best out of all the material. The videoclip will contain live
material of several performances, touring moments and other footage of
the band. If you are curious about the sound: Your Promises will soon
be released on the Myspace website of the band.

The release of the videoclip will hopefully be before the start of summer.

[FIRE REHEARSAL ROOM]
Maybe you already read it on the website, a big fire took place in the
complex where MUYM's practice room is located. The boys have been
blessed that nothing happened to their practice room. The fire started
in a big storage facility next to the rehearsal studios and had spread
to the studios in no-time. The first rehearsal after the fire the band
had to practice without power, they had to work by (very romantic)
candle light and borrowed power from their neighbours. Right now
everything is working properly again and MUYM is working hard on the
new songs for the upcoming recordings.

[JAN'S LAST SHOW]
After Jan's goodbye show at One Rock – Germany, Jan played his last
show with MUYM in Rijsenhout – The Netherlands. The party was a
success and the highlight of the evening definitely were the
ex-members of MUYM, which took over the show and played some of the
good old hits together with Jan. With mixed feelings MUYM said goodbye
to Jan. MUYM will really miss him and wishes Jan together with his
wife, kids and grandkids the very best and God's blessings! If you're
interested, you are able to read Jan's goodbye letter on the website.

[WILCO ("WULC") REPLACES JAN TEMPORARILY ON THE BASS GUITAR]
After Jan's goodbye the band is now searching for a new bass player.
'Till that time Wilco van Esschoten will play the bass for the
upcoming shows. On the last couple of shows at Giessen (Germany) and
Soest –(Germany) Wilco made a big impression and played along
successfully. MUYM is happy to have Wilco as a temporarily replacement
behind the bass and is looking forward to spent the coming time
together with him.
