NEW GW song "Octobers Lost" posted:about the song

We recently posted a new song that we recorded back in January called "Octobers Lost". We've never posted it on myspace before.This song is very personal to all of us. It is about the murder of a very close, lifelong friend to our vocalist Matt and our drummer Jeff from back home in D.C. where most of us originally came from. He was murdered by a street gang and shot point blank in the back of the head. This song talks about the pain,heartache,frustration, and sense of loss that comes from such a tragic event from the viewpoint of the family and close friends that are left behind. The song also talks about the surreal and numbing experience of being at the wake and funeral service looking down at your friend as they are being lowered into the ground knowing that this is the last time you will ever see them in this lifetime."Octobers Lost" also touches on the subject of knowing that the people responsible for the murder haven't been caught yet and wanting them brought to justice to pay for their crime.
This song is unmastered, but we will probably be re-recording a better version this Fall. Please take the time to give it a listen,Thanks.
