C'est le temps pour tous de bosser sur un nouveau projet et les membres de Darkroom (indie rock US) sont en plein dedans ! Le groupe espère que l'album sortira courant fin d'anné 2009 !

Its been several weeks since we've updated you all on our studio progress. Thought I would take a minute to let you know how things are going with the new album. We finished tracking the all the songs at the end of July in Colorado Springs. We've spent the past couple weeks trying to get back into our daily routines back home in Indiana. Its also proven to be a restful "ear break" for us, being so heavily immersed in darkroom songs for the past month. Its good for us to take a step away from our music for a spell so that we can have a fresh, more objective perspective on the mixes in the coming weeks.

I am excited to say that we are now back in full swing working on the album. I am currently back in beautiful Colorado Springs working with Josh, our engineer, every day for 12+ hours a day mixing the album. We're sending our drafts of the mixes back home to the other guys and getting their input, as we continue to tweak away and make fine adjustments. So far, so good!...but we can't wait for it to be done so that we can share it with you all. Its been a long time coming.

Well for those of you still keeping up with us, we appreciate your interest and support. It really means so much to us. We know for several months shows have been sparse, and we haven't hit the southeast (sorry Greenville!) or toured in a long time. Hopefully this songwriting/recording sabbatical will be worth it in the end. In other words, stay here with us...for better or for worse. :) Hopefully you'll be hearing some new music soon. Until then, please stay tuned for more updates...maybe even a song leak. ;)
